Yes, you can teach Health

An interactive online workshop

This workshop aims to encourage Primary school educators to take up the ‘challenge’ of providing space for health learning in the crowded curriculum. Hosted by Susan Wilson-Gahan, Education Lecturer at USQ,  the session will work through ideas for providing learning opportunities in the Personal, Social and Community Health strand through purposeful connection with Movement and Physical Activity and other learning areas.

Susan is an Education Lecturer at USQ, with UG and PG qualifications in PE and Health Sciences. She is currently writing the health education chapters in ‘Health and Physical Education, Preparing Educators for the Future’ 4th Ed. with Cambridge University Press. In 2020 she published “HPE: Navigating the Chasm of Policy, Practice and Management to Enact the Intended Curriculum and Meet the Needs of 21st Century Learners.
