Dr Hugh Shannon will facilitate the program. Hugh lectures at the Faculty of Health - School of Exercise & Nutrition Sciences at Queensland University of Technology.
Carolyn Jones is a Principal Education Officer at the QCAA in the Health, Physical Education (HPE)/Technologies learning area. Carolyn has held the role from the implementation of the new QCE system and is primarily responsible for the Health General Syllabus with additional shared responsibilities for the Sport & Recreation and Early Childhood Studies Applied Syllabuses.
Carly Valente is a highly experienced HPE teacher with a passion for health. Carly has previously presented at numerous ACHPER QLD State Conferences.
Dr Louise McCuaig currently serves as Head of Pastoral Programs at Matthew Flinders Anglican College. For over 30 years, she has been an educator in Queensland schools and universities. Louise’s research on health literacy and salutogenesis underpinned the development of the Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education and Queensland Senior Health Syllabus.
