The HPE Community

ACHPER QLD prides itself on its role as a connector in the HPE community – bridging the gap between universities, government agencies, teaching experts, sport and practicing teachers. As a not-for-profit, member-based organisation ACHPER QLD can focus on being professional, knowledgeable, relevant, reliable and practical. Unlike for-profit organisations, money generated by ACHPER QLD is funnelled back into the HPE community.

ACHPER QLD provides many opportunities for HPE teachers to feel a part of their community by:

• Providing an virtual professional community where people can interact with each other directly
• Providing industry specific information and resources
• Showcasing the work of the HPE sector
• Promoting the value of HPE in schools
• Providing face to face education opportunities
• Running an annual awards program
