Sport and Recreation Conference 2023
This conference will include three highly interactive workshops. There will be opportunities to engage with experienced teachers and QCAA officers to guide delegates in the implementation of the new Sport and Recreation syllabus in 2024 and beyond.
The workshop program includes:
- Advice about assessment design for both Project and Performance tasks
- Using the Action research cycle to plan a Teaching, Learning and Assessment Plan (TLAP) with Event management Unit as the context.
- A Question-and-Answer forum with a panel of experienced practitioners to lead discussion.
This is a must-attend opportunity for teachers of Sport and Recreation currently planning their courses for implementation from 2024.
The sessions will also present established modules and electives for the Sport and Rec applied syllabus. with a particular focus on the revised syllabus being implemented in 2024 and guide you through implementation of the new syllabus, using action research, enabling the sharing of ideas as well as developing a deeper understanding of assessment processes.
