Dear Sir

It is possible to give students more physical activity options at schools through incorporating physical activity in all subjects. Students need to be active in Physical Education classes but there should be opportunities to be active during breaks and in and out of the classroom. Numerous studies have identified the link between movement and cognition. HPE departments in secondary schools and primary Physical Education specialist teachers should act as a resource for teachers, administration and parents to promote physical activity throughout the school.
