On Thursday 22 October, ACHPER QLD will host the 19th Annual Women in Sport Breakfast to celebrate and inspire young women to achieve in the sporting arena. This year's theme "Creating Active Futures" will be reflected by the guest speakers as they are interviewed by the Master of Ceremonies Bronwyn Thompson, former Olympic and Commonwealth Games long jumper. Over the course of the morning, Bronwyn and other guests will discuss the setbacks they have experienced and how they have demonstrated resilience in their sporting careers. 

Joining Bronwyn on stage will be:
Sally McLellan (athletics), Liz Cantor (Channel 7), Kerry Leech (former netballer and current nutritionist for sporting teams), Melissa Rippon (waterpolo), Julie Smith (paralympic athletics), Kelly McKellar-Nathan (former softballer), Terese Anderson (touch football).
