Ian Healy to close Brisbane HPE Conference

Only two weeks to go - register your place now!

Ian Healy, well known past member of the Australian Cricket team, is also an ex-HPE teacher, businessman, speaker, TV presenter and philanthropist.  From 1988 to 1999, Ian missed just one Test – because of a broken thumb.  Along the way he amassed five world records.  He holds the record for the most dismissals by a keeper in Test history with his final tally of 395 made up of 366 catches and 29 stumpings.

You will hear Ian recount stories on times in his career when he faced change and challenges seemingly out of his control.  He will also speak about his work with Future State Greats, whose purpose is to identify ‘at risk’ and ‘elite’ level sports' students with a philosophy based on using the power of sport to initiate meaningful and positive change to the lives of young Queenslanders.
