The purpose of this activity it to get children thinking about the different movements of animals. Children will use their locomotor and stability skills.
Ideas for variations:
Speed eg. children move faster, slower
Volume eg. children can be loud noisy tigers, quiet creeping lizards, kangaroos jumping etc.

The children will act out animals or actions while you read a book. Choose a book about animals or actions such as "tigers creeping through the jungle" or "kangaroos jumping" or "babies crawling".
