ACHPER QLD is the connector between experts in the HPE industry and the practicing HPE teacher and works hard to meet the needs of its members and the greater HPE community. To further support HPE teachers, ACHPER QLD has expanded its suite of professional development opportunities to include the ASPIRE Leadership Series. This series of workshops will take place over a two year time frame and are targeted at the specific career stages of teachers or specific segments of the HPE workforce. The first of the series is the Women's Leadership Workshop being held on Sunday 18 November at the University of Queensland (St Lucia).

A Head of Department/Lead Teacher Leadership Retreat will take place over two days in April 2019  at the Gold Coast (program to be confirmed early in 2019) and an Early Career Teacher Symposium will take place in late 2019.
