Back after a break in 2009, the ACHPER QLD Brisbane HPE Conference is shaping up to be a very exiciting and well attended event. 

The program is packed full of interesting speakers offering a range of presentations including theoretical and practical sessions, with topics varying from curriculum, assessment, health, sport, physical education, physical activity and everything inbetween.

Physical Activity for the Early Years

This special workshop is designed especially for early primary classroom teachers.

This workshop, aimed at improving the level of physical activity in the Junior school (prep- grade 3) will provide attendees with practical ideas to implement in their classrooms. Featuring ideas on how to incorporate age appropriate and fun physical activities into the school day. 

Featuring two outstanding presenters from Griffith University, Dr Mich Tomson and Maria Bowering, this workshop will provide practical skills for primary school generalist teachers.
