WRAP UP OF THE AUSTRALIAN CURRICULUM WORKSHOP 16 APRIL
The Planning and Assessing the Australian Curriculum workshop was a great day of professional development, led by HPE curriculum expert Glenn Amezdroz. 73 teachers attended from schools all over Queensland with professionals from early career through to those with 10 and 20+ years of experience. SUPER MOVERS SYMPOSIUM - REGISTER TODAY
There is still time to register for the Super Movers Symposium: Physical Education for Early Years and Students with Movement Challenges on Monday 14 May. The symposium is designed for Primary School classroom teachers in state and non-state sectors.

CUDDIHY-TOMSON LECTURE PPRESENTER ANNOUNCED FOR BRISBANE CONFERENCE
We are pleased to announce Glenn Amezdroz as our guest presenter for the annual Cuddihy-Tomson Lecture at this year's Brisbane Conference. Glenn will be presenting the topic "Re-imagining practice in Health and Physical Education – what’s our purpose?" Glenn will also be presenting a workshop during the conference on "Functional Anatomy in QCE Physical Education (2019)".
 
REGISTRATION OPEN FOR BRISBANE CONFERENCE
Register today for ACHPER QLD's annual Brisbane HPE Conference. The conference will be held at Iona College on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 August 2018. Besides a variety of great HPE presentations for both primary and secondary teachers, there will be additional sessions about the new Senior HPE Syllabus. These sessions will focus on Health on Thursday and Physical Activity on Friday. As usual there will be a mix of lectures, workshops and practical sessions over the two day. More information can be found on our website and will follow in the coming weeks.

CALLING ALL PRESENTERS FOR THE BRISBANE HPE CONFERENCE
ACHPER QLD is calling for presentations from practicing teachers and other interested people for the 2018 Brisbane HPE Conference. Year on year, we receive feedback telling us that teachers get the most value from sessions led by their peers. The conference will take place on the 16 & 17 August at Iona College, Wynnum.
