Brisbane Conference Presenter Nominations
ACHPER QLD is calling for presenters for the 2017 Brisbane HPE Conference, to be held at Iona College on Thursday 17 & Friday 18 August. Nominations close Friday 5th May. Application forms can be found here.
Proceedings from ACHPER International Conference
The proceedings from the recent ACHPER International Conference that was held in Canberra in January are now available.  The conference included diverse presentations such as: Creating an understanding of the UV Index amongst pre-service teachers, Are we delivering the most relevant skill acquisition content in senior secondary physical education courses and Health: Building an awareness of sleep disorders and problems impacting learning, behaviour and wellbeing. The proceedings can be viewed here.
The Five Propositions
The Five Propositions is a set of five cards that can be used by teachers, educators and university students as a tool to help support their emerging understandings of the five propositions of the new Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education. The cards can be bought online from ACHPER National.
