PRIMARY SCHOOL GRANT ASSESSMENT CHANGES FROM TERM 3
Demand for Sporting Schools program funding is greater than ever so there is a need to prioritise applications. From Term 3, Sporting Schools will implement an open competitive process each term for Primary School grants. To ensure equal access to funding, those schools who have received the least number of grants over the past year will be prioritised.

Applications will also be assessed based on schools who engage the highest proportion of students.

What if a school is unsuccessful in securing Primary School funding in Term 3?

If a school’s application is unsuccessful for Term 3, they are strongly encouraged to apply for Term 4 funding (20 August).

Check the Sporting Schools website for future updates.

Schools can also access the free Sporting Schools resources that support teachers to deliver sport and physical activity.

Any other questions?

If there are any queries, please contact the Sporting Schools Client Support Centre on 1300 785 707 or by email.
